Basics of Indian Astrology: Learn the basics of the Vedic Astrology:Part 1

Indian Astrology: Astrology, I think is almost a science, if extensive researches are done on this subject, it will be accepted as a science by the world. It is generally useful to predict our future.According to Astrology planets affect human lives. It may sound ridiculous to some people, if you say that planets that are millions of miles away from the Earth could have an impact on your life. But , believe me planets do affect all lives on the Earth. Your whole life is destined at the every moment when you are born. Your intelligence, hard work can have a little effect on your life. How could planets influence human life, you may wonder, right? You can feel the heat rays of Sun that is millions of miles away from you. Without sun there could be no life on the Earth. When Sun can have an impact on your life, why can't other planets?

Limitations of astrology: Can any one give you 100% accurate predictions? I don't think even the world's best astrologer can give you 100% correct predictions. Astrology is a vast subject and is too difficult to master it in a lifetime. However a good astrologer can definitely surprise you with his predictions, the accuracy can be even up to 90%. Nevertheless it is believed that the astrologers of ancient India were able to predict 100% accurate predictions, as they lived for hundreds of years with yoga and meditation and could see things with their inner vision.

Basics of Indian astrology: You can include the whole Universe in 360 degrees. There are millions of stars, planets, satellites in the Universe. Yet, according to Indian astrology 9 planets and 27 stars human life on the Earth.  Twelve signs include the whole Universe, each sign governs 30 degrees. For easy understanding the 12 signs are in a square rather than in a circle. An astrologer predicts your future by analysing your birth horoscope chart. A horoscope chart shows the exact planetary positions at the time of your birth.Your birth time decides your destiny. If the planets are in good positions at the time of your birth, your life will be smooth, happy and successful, otherwise you will have to struggle all through your life.

<><><>This is a typical birth chart of a person who was born on 6-10-1956.<><><>

Birth chart: A birth chart has 12 signs and the planetary positions of the 9 planets at the time of
birth of the native. Every star governs about 13.33 degrees. In short, a horoscope is about the 12 signs, 27 stars and 9 planets.

The 9 planets: The 9 planets that are taken into account in Indian astrology are Sun( Ancient Indian astrologers tagged sun as a planet), Moon( it's a planet according to them), Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu (Rahu and Ketu are called as shadow planets)

The 27 stars: The first star Aswini falls in the first zodiac sign Mesha (Aries). The other stars are Aswini, Bharani, Krittika, Rohini, Mrigashirsa, Arudra, Punarvasu, Pushya, Aslesha, Magha, Purvaphalguni, Uttaraphalguni,Hastha, Chithra, Swati, Vishaka, Anusha, Jyeshta, Mula, Purvashadha, Utthiarashadha, Sravana, Sravishta, Satabishak, Poorvabhadrapada, Uttarabhadrapada and Revathi.
